It’s time to reserve your spot in the 4th annual Nonprofit Board Prep Program and gain the skills and connections necessary to serve on nonprofit boards in the Kenosha area. Be a part of a program that helps increase the leadership role of young professionals in Kenosha’s nonprofit sectors.

This popular five-session series is facilitated by local community leaders who are experienced in serving on a variety of nonprofit boards – and have subject matter expertise in the topics they teach. Training sessions include topics such as:
  • Overview of nonprofit boards
  • Fundraising
  • Legal and ethical responsibilities
  • Financial management
  • Strategic planning
Sessions take place on Wednesday evenings from 5:30 p.m. to 7:00 p.m., starting March 4, 2020. All workshops are held at the Kenosha Area Business Alliance Training Center, located at 5500 6th Ave., Suite 200, Kenosha. Registration fee is $150 and includes dinner, materials and graduation social.

By committing to the YLink Nonprofit Board Prep Program, you agree to attend all classes during the five-week course. You understand that as a participant in the YLink Nonprofit Board Prep Program, that failure to attend classes could result in non-graduating status. The $150 registration fee for this course is nonrefundable. YLink does not guarantee that you will be matched with a nonprofit board, nor does YLink have any direct involvement with board membership once a match is made.
